During the first COVID-19 wave, Rit Rural Foundation emerged as a critical responder, gaining public trust and formal registration within a year. During this devastating first Wave, Rit became a beacon of hope for communities offering selfless services to mankind. Partnering with Gurugram’s district administration, the Foundation established an emergency medical centre at Ram Mandir, Palam Vihar, where nearly 100 lives were saved over 10 days.

 Also, acute food insecurity was addressed by distributing 5 lakh meals to 50,000 vulnerable individuals. During the second wave, news of dumping dead bodies in Ganga ji flashed. As Unnao isthe hometown of Rit’s founder, our team immediately got into the action mood. 

Unnao medical infrastructure was set up in a newly built Community Health Centre in Makhi. The infrastructure catered to the needs of 4,000+ people for oxygen cylinders, beds, and BiPAP machines. When disasters strike, the Rit Foundation team doesn’t let despair win. We come forward with open hearts and hands to help restore the balance and rebuild shattered lives.
