In September 2022, Rit Rural Foundation served Kanpur Dehat during the double disaster of floods in a few districts and floods in 18 districts. More than 850+ families were assisted in every possible way.

In September 2022, the UP state was forecasted for inadequate monsoon rainfall, leading to the anticipation of a drought. On the other hand, 18 districts encountered unexpected rainfall, leading to floods, resulting in crop losses.

These natural calamities had a significant impact on acres of land throughout the villages of Kanpur Dehat. The government officials were doing the needful.

However, Rit’s team decided to come to the rescue of the victims. We provided aid to an additional 850 families so that they could sustain through the difficult times.

Our rapid response for the flood relief rehabilitation was coupled with distribution of food, clean drinking water, shelter kits, and hygiene supplies to victims.
