Introducing the marginalised section to the digital know-how through hands-on training
Rit Rural Foundation has worked closely with women from all sections and upskilled them. Making products like pickle-making, beeswax and turmeric production, honey packaging, embroidery work, and more are taught to women in workshops which are then sold on the market.
We help solo farmers band together into Farmer Producer Organisations to amplify the bargaining power for inputs, equipment, and bulk sales. It helps in hitting the broader goal of doubling farmers’ income and exploring the export markets for agri-products under the guidance of experts.
To further uplift society, the curricula in under-sourced schools are meticulously aligned with the National Education Policy to make sure that children are at par with students across the country.
Together, these initiatives drive the holistic development of society. They form a self-sustaining cycle of rural development. When women and farmers are equipped with entrepreneurial skills, they generate higher incomes, which directly uplift the living standard of people and create a greater demand for quality education. Our aim is that every individual can contribute to and benefit from sustainable rural prosperity.
