When the COVID-19 pandemic struck with full force, one of the gravest challenges faced across India was the acute shortage of oxygen. Hospitals were overwhelmed, patients struggled to breathe, and families were left scrambling for resources. In response to this life-threatening crisis, our NGO launched the Free Mobile Oxygen Seva initiative — a rapid and compassionate intervention that brought oxygen support directly to those who needed it most.
We coordinated with local health departments, emergency responders, and community leaders to identify high-risk zones and prioritize areas with limited healthcare infrastructure.
Oxygen on Wheels: A Lifeline During Crisis
As the devastating second wave of COVID-19 swept across India, hospitals ran out of beds, oxygen supplies dried up, and panic spread among communities. In the face of this urgent need, our NGO launched the Free Mobile Oxygen Seva — a swift, ground-level mission to deliver emergency oxygen support to patients in critical condition.
Through retrofitted vans equipped with medical-grade oxygen cylinders, concentrators, and trained response teams, the initiative was designed to reach people who couldn’t access hospitals or were waiting for admission.
