Rit Rural Foundation rescued over 1,500+ families across flood-affected districts of Madhya Pradesh namely, Sheopur and Morena, in 2022. Our prompt response focused on both emergency relief and sustainable community rebuilding in far flung areas of Chambal and Parvati rivers.

Unprecedented rainfall in districts of MP, Hoshangabad, Morena, Raisen, and Sehore submerged entire villages, displaced thousands of families, and many lost their lives.
The Rit’s team reached the flood-hit districts with emergency resources within 48 hours of the catastrophe. We delivered emergency relief kits to over 5,000 affected families, prioritising regions with acute accessibility challenges.
Our initiative established medical camps to address urgent healthcare needs and mitigate public health risks.
We also distributed essential supplies—including food, clean water, and sanitation materials.
Our proactiveness provided life-saving assistance and minimized human suffering during large-scale climatic emergencies.
